About the brief:
A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking is one of the most important scientific writings of the modern age. It tackles some of the universe’s grandest and most complex questions while still remaining approachable and digestible by a curious reader who might not be so well versed in technical jargon.
For this book design, I wanted to convey time being broken apart and coming back together to give a fresh perspective on the conception of our universe and time itself. I took apart an alarm clock and rearranged it’s pieces into ‘organised chaos’, which was then photographed and edited for the final cover design.
