About the brief:

The Book of Mormon is one of the most successful modern musicals, having won several awards including multiple Tony Awards, a Grammy award and an Olivier. This satirical musical follows two Latter-day Saints missionaries through their journey to Uganda as they try to preach the faith of the Church to locals.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary on Broadway, I created a new identity for The Book of Mormon to accompany this event with a focus on creating an engaging type package. The show is very funny, vulgar and edgy, and I wanted to convey this through the rough handmade typeface as well as the bold and striking colour choices.
